About the role

Innovative Therapy Concepts (ITC) partners with OrthoGeorgia to manage all therapy operations. We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist
• Performs active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, and applies heat, light, sound, water, and electrical modalities
• Trains patients in the use of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices
• Assists in patient education and rehabilitation, including teaching functional activities
• Monitors and records patient progress and communicates with the Physical Therapist
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals and maintains a positive team atmosphere

Qualifications

• Active and current Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passionate about patient care and learning
