About the role

TEAMCare is seeking a PA licensed or licensed eligible Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide weekly clinical, therapeutic services to individual patients and families that include individual, family, & group therapy, crisis intervention, advocacy, diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and discharge planning
  • Participate in interdisciplinary teamwork and work with community providers as needed
  • Complete timely and satisfactory documentation of all treatment efforts and progress which adheres to standards and regulations as set forth by the Agency, State and the respective licensing board
  • Maintain ethical standards per licensure and for performing services in a professional manner that is congruent with the mission and values of the Agency
  • Report timely, as scheduled, to client appointments, via non-company provided transportation adhering to HIPAA regulations
  • Attend regular supervision meetings with Clinical Supervisor

Requirements

  • PA licensed or licensed eligible
  • Experience in outpatient mental health settings
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Licensed as a Professional Clinical Counselor (PCC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Current CPR certification

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
