About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mental Health Counselor to support a Walk-In Behavioral Health Clinic in Anchorage. This role involves providing counseling, education, and case management to clients within structured programs, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and assisting in developing program processes and group curricula.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver clinical care, including counseling and education, to clients within structured programs
  • Provide case management services to support client needs
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote patient-centered, whole-person care
  • Assist in developing and refining program processes and group curricula
  • Demonstrate advanced clinical skills and serve as a resource for clinicians
  • Exemplify core values in all aspects of the role

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
  • Valid Alaska clinical license (e.g., Social Worker, Psychologist, Counselor)
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
