We are seeking a Senior Mental Health Counselor to support a Walk-In Behavioral Health Clinic in Anchorage. This role involves providing counseling, education, and case management to clients within structured programs, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and assisting in developing program processes and group curricula.
Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical care, including counseling and education, to clients within structured programs
- Provide case management services to support client needs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote patient-centered, whole-person care
- Assist in developing and refining program processes and group curricula
- Demonstrate advanced clinical skills and serve as a resource for clinicians
- Exemplify core values in all aspects of the role
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- Valid Alaska clinical license (e.g., Social Worker, Psychologist, Counselor)
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
