About The Role

The Article 31 clinic is an OMH regulated outpatient mental health clinic that supports children, adolescents and adults. The Outpatient Mental Health Therapist is responsible for providing comprehensive clinical services to persons supported through the Article 31 Clinic. The individual is required to work in-person from our Jamaica location during hours of operation, which includes evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, couple and family therapy.
  • Moves the individual to meet the minimum requirement of completing 10-12 hours of billable sessions per week.
  • Supports persons supported through crisis intervention.
  • Administers appropriate evidence-based and culturally-informed interventions (i.e. CBT, TF-CBT and Motivational Interviewing).
  • Completes intakes and provides internal and external resource linkages and referrals.
  • Completes clinical assessments, treatment plans and progress notes in a timely manner.
  • Engage in professional development and certification and training opportunities and participate in reflective supervision.

Qualifications

  • Must have an active Clinical License (LMSW, LMFC, LCAT, LMHC).
  • Must have a Master’s degree in social work or a related field.
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 10-12 billable sessions per week.
  • Experience/expertise in Mental Health diagnostics.
  • Experience and comfort with Evidence Based Models and multiple assessment measures.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated worker who can easily manage competing demands.
  • Creative problem-solver who anticipates challenges and seizes opportunities for collaboration.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.

  • Ability to travel to other Rising Ground sites (if required)

Fees for Service

Please be advised this is a FEE-FOR-SERVICE role. There is no hourly rate. You get paid based on services rendered. For example if you are called in for 3 hours for a day you get a certain amount for those 3 hours. Hours and days vary
