OUTPATIENT INTERN CASE MANAGER - SOCIAL WORK AND COUNSELING STUDENTS (UNPAID)

Responsibilities

• Works with a multidisciplinary team to help stabilize patient's mental health and substance abuse crisis.
• Understands the assessment process and develops individualized treatment plans.
• Manages the psychosocial needs of patients, develops crisis plans and discharge plans.
• Interfaces with patient's family and supports.
• Conducts group therapies using a cognitive model.
• Manages multiple competing demands throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Must be a 1st or 2nd year student or advanced standing Masters Student in Social Work or Counseling Program.
• Enthusiastic team members with excellent clinical skills who are good communicators and can work well in a fast-paced environment.
