Outpatient Geriatric Medicine AP Opportunity
Position Highlights
Join the Division of Geriatric Medicine consisting of 5 physicians and 5 advanced practitioners at the first age-friendly health system in the U.S., as recognized by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. Based out of our Longmeadow, MA clinic, candidates will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team - including social workers, nursing staff, rehabilitation specialists, pharmacists, and families - to care for our aging population. Our strong support staff support includes 3 clinical nurses, 2 social workers, 1 PSR and faculty. See a wide variety of cases and patient types in our clinic setting including cognitive impairment, dementia and goals-of-care discussions. This is a full-time position with hours Monday-Friday 8a-5p. Candidates will have 1 hour of protected time per day. No nights/call/weekends.
Qualifications
- BC Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a minimum of 1 year APP practice experience.
- A strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality and lifelong learning is essential for success.
Pay and Benefits
The compensation ranges in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience.
Outpatient Geriatrics AP $129,780 - $164,400No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
