Outpatient Coder

About the role

Remote, hospital-based outpatient coder responsible for coding SDS, Labor & Delivery, Observations, and Radiology encounters.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assign diagnosis and procedure codes for hospital outpatient services using EPIC and 3M systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of outpatient coding experience.
• Strong EPIC experience required.
• Full-time availability; open to part-time with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Preferred: flexible hours, every-other-weekend or weekend availability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Rural Health Care (RHC) experience.

Assignment Details
