About the role
Remote, hospital-based outpatient coder responsible for coding SDS, Labor & Delivery, Observations, and Radiology encounters.
Responsibilities
- Accurately assign diagnosis and procedure codes for hospital outpatient services using EPIC and 3M systems.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of outpatient coding experience.
- Strong EPIC experience required.
- Full-time availability; open to part-time with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Preferred: flexible hours, every-other-weekend or weekend availability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Rural Health Care (RHC) experience.
Assignment Details
Six-month assignment located in Hilo, Hawaii—the largest community on the island. Hilo offers tropical botanical gardens, museums, beaches, Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, and a vibrant local culture.
