Outpatient Clinic Office Assistant, Neurology Clinic (Full Time)
About the role
Responsible for patient care activities including checking vital signs, assisting physician/nurse practitioner with procedures. Schedules appointments, answers telephones, and maintains medical records. Provides direct patient care under the supervision of an RN/LPN, LVN, or physician, evaluates outcomes, and consults with other healthcare team members as required.
Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict. Performs all job duties or tasks as assigned and adheres to all requirements, regulations, and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Complies with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Certified Nurse Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant license required
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting required
- BLS certification required
Pay
Starting wage $20.30/hourly. Actual offered wage is based on applicable experience.
