About the role
Certified Medical Coders (CPC or CPC-A) work on-site, providing quality review and analysis of patient medical records.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy of coding and maintain records in accordance with accepted medical and legal standards.
- Code cases utilizing ICD-10 CM classification systems.
- Code outpatient and specialty services in an accurate and productive manner according to Federal, State, AHIMA and hospital guidelines.
- Support department or hospital functions as needed when qualified to do so.
Requirements
- Must have a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification.
- A minimum of an Associate’s (AAS) degree from a two-year college or technical school in Health Information Management, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to work 100% on-site.

$22.69 up to $25.32 based on experience.
