Outpatient Clinic Charge Nurse (RN)

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Charge Nurse oversees daily unit operations, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care through effective leadership, clinical expertise, and team collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate patient care, staffing, and resource management.Assign patients considering acuity, new staff, and operational needs.Perform patient rounds, evaluate care quality, and address corrective actions.Collaborate with physicians, staff, and leadership for patient flow and safety.Support performance improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice, and staff development.Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.Act as a resource and mentor for team members, fostering a positive work environment.Promote interdisciplinary communication, patient-centered care, and safety standards. Qualifications & Skills: Associate or Bachelor's Nursing degree (preferred).Current RN license and Basic Life Support certification.Minimum of 1 year nursing experience; 2 years as relief charge preferred.Strong clinical, leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.Ability to utilize technology effectively and work collaboratively in a team.
