About the Role

The RN Outpatient Cardiovascular Nurse supports the Cardiac Outpatient Unit by providing high-quality, safe patient care in cardiac diagnostics and rehabilitation settings. They collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring individualized care plans that address biological, emotional, and educational needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and monitor patients during stress testing and exercise.
• Interpret clinical data and administer medications as required.
• Respond to emergencies following AHA ACLS protocols.
• Develop and implement patient education programs.
• Adjust exercise prescriptions in collaboration with specialists to promote recovery and wellness.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare policies and uphold nursing standards.
• Support team goals in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of nursing experience.
• Two or more years of cardiac nursing experience preferred.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
