Outpatient Cardiology Nurse Practitioner
About the Role
Join our Cardiology team in Chelmsford, MA as an outpatient Cardiology Nurse Practitioner. This position provides clinical care to patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditions in an outpatient setting. You will collaborate closely with cardiologists, primary care physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate, manage, and optimize treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic cardiac disease. The role focuses on improving cardiovascular outcomes, supporting chronic disease management, and enhancing patient quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad spectrum of cardiology conditions in the outpatient setting
- Develop longitudinal relationships with patients
- Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary team members to provide coordinated, patient-centered care
- Focus on quality outcomes, preventive care, and chronic disease management
- Work cross-functionally with various members of our community and stakeholders
- Contribute to a flexible work environment that values work-life balance
- Engage actively within our communities, bridging academic and community care
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited and/or approved Nurse Practitioner program
- Current license as a Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Current certification in CPR
- A team player who is excited to work cooperatively with a wide range of stakeholders and disciplines
Qualifications
Cardiology, primary care, internal medicine, or related advanced practice experience preferred.
Schedule
- Full time
- Four 10-hour days per week
- No holidays, weekends, or night call responsibilities
Pay
The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $156,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on factors including relevant experience, education, and internal equity.
