Outpatient and School-Based Mental Health Counselor
About the role
Clarvida is hiring a School-Based and Outpatient Mental Health Counselor in New Kensington, PA. This full-time role offers competitive hourly rates, travel compensation, and opportunities for licensed clinicians to earn more than the non-licensed scale.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and family therapy for assigned caseload within the Fox Chapel Area School District (elementary, middle, high school levels)
- Maintain clinical documentation in a timely and compliant manner
- Travel to appointment sites, schools, or other required locations as outlined in program requirements
- Adhere to state and local regulatory requirements pertaining to school-based mental health services
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and community partners to support clients
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or similar clinical field from an accredited institution
- Verified clinical practicum or internship completed
- Licensed (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) in Pennsylvania OR willing to work under non-licensed rate if license is not held
- Willingness to travel between school and appointment sites (up to 100% travel possible)
