Outlet Installation & Maintenance Associate

The Installation Maintenance Associate helps the store's Visual Lead create the overall look and feel of store environment. Under the direction of the Visual Lead and Outlet Manager, they help create environments that bring the Arteriors brand to life through the installation and maintenance of luxury lighting and furniture. This role reports to the Outlet Manager and provides support for the Plano, TX, and Dallas, TX Outlet locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drives sales by ensuring all visual initiatives align with overall store brand strategy
  • Under the assistance of the Visual Lead and Outlet Manager, will assemble, install, and maintain all chandeliers, pendants, wall sconces, mirrors and furniture with weekly new arrivals
  • Maintaining overall store appearance within execution areas as well as patch/paint/repair of walls as needed
  • Supports truck deliveries by unboxing, unloading and processing product from door to floor environment
  • Greeting and directing customers to sales support
  • Safely assist customers loading and unloading their purchases into their vehicle
  • Attends meetings as applicable with Sales team to understand and respond to visual merchandising changes needed to support business needs and drive sales
  • Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together safely, effectively, and respectfully with all sales associates and team members to drive overall sales

What to Expect Your First 30, 60, and 90 Days

30 Days

  • Install/uninstall chandeliers, mirrors, and sconces safely
  • Assists the driver and team with weekly deliveries at each location
  • Tests all electrical items received from inventory for function before installation or sale
  • Reviews the safety manual weekly and addresses any known issues

60 Days

  • Knows and executes all basic directions (like standard chandelier height, correct mirror placement etc.)
  • Maintains showroom walls, patching and touching up paint monthly. Safely repairs any damaged items when possible
  • Demonstrates all safety precautions and leads the team in safety precautions

90 Days

  • Takes initiative to store, organize, and order new inventory for additional parts, chains, pipes, and tools
  • Repairs any facility issues or requests repairs if outside of skillset
  • Can independently place items that complement the current aesthetic when direction is not available
  • Shares any insights on unusual or special features with the team

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a retail environment, ideally within a related role, preferred
  • You're willing to commute to both our Plano and Dallas Outlet Store locations (mileage paid)
  • You're available to work Tues/Thurs 8:00–4:00, Wed/Fri/Sat 9:00–5:00
  • The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs. and climb tall ladders
  • Strong customer orientation, always willing to go above and beyond
  • You thrive in a team-oriented environment that requires you to collaborate with your peers to meet goals and solve problems
  • You pay close attention to details. You aim to do things right every single time
  • You are adept at communication, both listening to and sharing information
