Outdoor Supply Hardware - Full-time Warehouse Associate

General Responsibilities

• Picks RSO transfers using WMS RF guns to fill retail stores and Batch Transfers as appropriate.
• Transports and scans merchandise to appropriate staging areas.
• Stocks product in designated areas using RF guns.
• Operates materials handling equipment, to include but not limited to: forklifts, reach lifts, and pallet jacks.
• Checks SKU number, part number, location code, and quantities picked when filling orders to ensure accuracy.
• Observes all safety procedures, regulations, rules, and instruction in performance of job duties.
• Follows Company policies and procedures on a daily basis.
• Aids in physical inventories and cycle counting.
• Loads and unloads product as assigned.
• Utilizes computer to look-up SDS.
• Cross trains to receive as necessary.
• Keeps assigned area organized, swept, clean, and hazard free.

Qualifications

• Able to perform each duty and responsibility in a satisfactory manner.
• Previous work experience dealing with retail sales or general customer service.
• Strong math, reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Problem-solving ability and good organizational skills.
• Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, attentive to detail, and good time management skills.
• Ability to lift and load merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs. for various amounts of time, lift and load merchandise over six feet off the ground, climb a ladder, and maneuver safely at the store.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One or more years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and load merchandise of up to 80lbs for extended periods of time.
• Forklift/reach lift operation experience and/or ability to obtain OSH certification.
• Adherence to Company attendance standards.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills and good with numbers.
• The ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.

Pay and Benefits

This job is an hourly position (non-exempt from overtime). Pay range is $18.65 to $24.00 per hour. Though successful sales associates may be considered for other opportunities within the company, the position carries no guarantee of career progression.
