What You Can Expect
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm schedule
- First-year earning potential: $60,000 - $80,000 (including commissions and bonuses)

Responsibilities
- Determine and execute strategies to grow and maintain Lamar’s real estate portfolio.
- Monitor and analyze operational data, land lease agreements, and property assets.
- Create market abstracts and identify growth/relocation opportunities through zoning analysis.
- Collaborate on strategic data analysis and budget preparation.
- Negotiate and prepare agreements with landowners for new/existing assets.
- Oversee due diligence and purchase processes for approved acquisitions.
- Maintain accurate records, process real estate tax invoices, and manage percentage/overage payments.
- Build relationships with governmental officials and monitor zoning ordinances.
- Secure and maintain governmental approvals (variances, permits, etc.).
- Serve as primary contact for landowners and internal departments.
Requirements
- Knowledge of city/state codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web applications, and learning new software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills across diverse backgrounds.
- Attention to detail in composing and proofing materials.
- Basic accounting skills and budget management ability.
- Valid driver’s license required; real estate license preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (business, real estate, or related) or 7 years of equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of business/real estate experience preferred (3-5 years with land acquisition focus).
- Experience in zoning, land use planning, and operational/financial analysis.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
Primarily office-based with field driving required. Light lifting, sitting >50%, standing, stooping, and walking. Less than 10% overnight travel.
