Outdoor Cultivator

About the role

CULTA is currently seeking an Outdoor Cultivator to join our dynamic team in Cambridge, MD. The Outdoor Cultivator will work directly under the supervision of the Cultivation Manager and Cultivation Supervisor.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Learn and adhere to all current cultivation SOPs.
• Maintain plant health and growth rates, reporting any changes or discrepancies to management.
• Perform daily scouting activities, plant feeding assessments, and other daily tasks.
• Ensure all cleaning operations are completed efficiently and correctly.
• Participate in various tasks including transplanting, cloning, pruning, waste disposal, harvesting, foliar spraying, cleaning procedures, trellising, using inventory tracking tags, and mixing fertilizer solutions.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Highly organized, energetic, and productive.
• Self-motivated and self-starter.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work effectively with a team of laborers and assist others in completing tasks.

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 21+ years old and eligible to register as a grower agent with the Commission.
• No violent or drug-related felony convictions.
• Ability to work long hours standing and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of hydroponic cultivation practices, cannabis life cycle, and common pests.
• Pass all applicable background checks.
