Outbound - Warehouse Associate I

Shifts

• Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
• Sun-Thurs 3pm-12am

Duties

• Accurately pick parts.
• Weigh product using the proper scales.
• Check part numbers and quantities with a high degree of accuracy.
• Accurately pack orders into shipping cartons, verifying all components of the order are accounted for the correct customer.
• Read customer order notes and fill the order with any special customer requirements.
• Unload freight and check in product.
• Stock parts in the proper location.
• Maintain stock and shipping supplies.
• Absorb physical inventory; perform inventory audits as needed.
• Notify Department Lead or Department Supervisor of any stock shelf issues.
• Report defective materials/product, shortages and/or questionable conditions to the Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and orderliness.
• Follow all safety rules.

Education And Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Similar job experience is preferred.
• Retail floor handheld experience is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in English communication including reading, writing, and verbal interactions are required for complying with safety protocols and operational procedures.

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk on level surfaces for a prolonged period.
• The employee frequently is required to talk and hear; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms above shoulder height and below the waist.
• The employee must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. 70% of the day and up to 65 lbs. 30% of the day.
