Outbound Telecom Sales Agent | Urgently Hiring

About the role

MCI is seeking an energetic, persuasive, and motivated Outbound Telecom Sales Agent to join our dynamic team. This role requires a high volume of outbound calls, product introduction, and deal closure through effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume outbound calls to prospective customers
• Introduce and promote telecom products, including internet and bundled services
• Capture customer interest quickly and drive the conversation toward a sale
• Handle objections and rejections with resilience and professionalism
• Consistently meet daily and weekly call and sales targets
• Accurately document call outcomes and customer responses
• Follow scripts while maintaining a natural and engaging tone
• Stay up to date on products, promotions, and sales strategies
• Maintain compliance with all policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of outbound sales or call center experience
• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
• Resilience and ability to handle rejection
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a high-volume, target-driven environment
• Basic computer literacy and multitasking ability
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Telecom or direct sales experience
• Proven track record in outbound sales
• Bilingual (Spanish a plus)
• Experience using CRM or dialer systems

Physical Requirements

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
