Outbound Supervisor E Shift - W12

About the role

RJW Logistics Group is hiring for a warehouse supervisory position that reports to the Warehouse Manager. The role involves supervising warehouse operations, communicating transitional information from night shift to day shift, managing staff, and overseeing computer entry work and paperwork flow.

Responsibilities

• Assign work assignments for all 2nd shift warehouse staffing, considering customer specifications and delivery schedules.
• Oversee the loading of inbound/outbound freight according to customer specifications.
• Supervise Local, Regional, and OTR drivers, communicate updates and work-flow changes.
• Review deliveries for poor packing and general conditions of materials, alerting relevant personnel as necessary.
• Oversee and assign the processing of shipment paperwork, ensuring accuracy and verification of shipments.
• Monitor the quality and accuracy of all shipments according to customer specifications.
• Ensure department staff meets customer requirements and updates staff on changes.
• Communicate with customers, respond to inquiries, and implement required actions.
• Ensure safety, training, and development of employees, drivers, and contractors, in accordance with OSHA and RJW policies.
• Oversee completion of computer data entry, checking for accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain and approve employee timesheets, monitoring overtime hours and making corrections as needed.
• Perform daily building checks, notifying Warehouse Director of equipment or building problems.
• Ensure warehouse employees adhere to AIB processes and procedures, and complete required checklists.
• Issue corrective actions or work orders as needed, and ensure proper accident reporting procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years previous warehouse supervisory/managerial experience.
• Dispatch experience and dock supervision experience.
• Familiarity with Smart Turn or TMW software a plus.
• Experience in Warehouse Management and LTL dispatch.
• Knowledge of DOT Regulations and Requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum of H.S. diploma or GED equivalent, with some college preferred. The ideal candidate will have efficiency management skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and strong core values aligning with those of RJW, emphasizing safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Pay

$65-$68k annual.

Schedule

Sunday - Wednesday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM (Hours may vary based on business needs).
