Outbound - Dock and Forklift Lead

About the role

Seeking an experienced Dock Lead to oversee daily dock operations, including freight movement, supervising staff, and ensuring timely departures while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling tasks
• Coordinating with management
• Supervising loading/unloading
• Enforcing safety and compliance policies
• Training new employees

Requirements

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in logistics or transportation
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently or in teams
• Ability to handle high-volume environments
• Ability to work up to 50 hours/week

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Proficiency with computer systems (AS/400, MS Office) preferred
• Forklift certification preferred
• RF scanner experience preferred
