Outboard & Powersports Technician

Description White Rock Outboard is seeking a full-time, year round Outboard & Powersports Technician to join our team. This position combines marine and powersports service, providing year-round variety working on outboard engines, sterndrives, trolling motors, snowmobiles, ATVs, and related equipment. Candidates do not need experience in both marine and powersports. Experienced technicians from either side—as well as candidates with relevant automotive, motorcycle, small-engine, or other mechanical backgrounds—are encouraged to apply. Marine Responsibilities Diagnose, service, and repair outboard enginesDiagnose, service, and repair sterndrive systemsPerform manufacturer-recommended maintenanceDiagnose engine performance and operating issuesPerform winterization and spring commissioningInstall and service trolling motorsDiagnose and repair starting, charging, and related electrical issuesInstall and service batteries and basic electrical componentsTroubleshoot and repair simple onboard marine systemsInstall marine accessories and equipmentPerform or assist with repowers and engine installationsConduct operational checks following repairs Powersports Responsibilities Diagnose, service, and repair snowmobilesDiagnose, service, and repair ATVs and related powersports equipmentPerform scheduled and preventative maintenanceDiagnose engine, drivetrain, electrical, starting, charging, and operating issuesPerform seasonal service and preparationRepair and replace worn or damaged componentsInstall accessories and equipmentPerform operational and safety checks following repairs Benefits Competitive pay based on experience and certificationsHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for training and professional developmentWork in a dynamic and growing outdoor recreation industry If you have marine, powersports, automotive, motorcycle, or small-engine experience and want a position offering year-round variety, we encourage you to apply.
