About This Role
Potelco, Inc. seeks an Outage Coordinator to join the team in Sumner, WA. This role coordinates 24/7 Potelco emergency response crew requests, provides incident-specific support, coordination, prioritization, tracking, and invoicing for emergency response work received from customers to Potelco Operations. This role will be on a night shift schedule and training occurs in Sumner, WA on the day shift. The schedule consists of 7 days on; 7 days off.
Responsibilities
- Emergency Response (75%):
- Initiate and coordinate 24/7 emergency crew requests with operation crews.
- Provide incident-specific support, coordination, prioritization, tracking, and invoicing for emergency response work received from customers to Potelco Operations.
- Schedule Hydro-Vac Trucks outside of normal business hours.
- Communicate professionally with internal and external teams.
- Administrative Duties (25%):
- Create job-specific details.
- Monitor estimated time of restoration and work with internal and external teams to adjust time as needed.
- Utilize Microsoft Suite and customized vendor applications for job-related tasks.
- Work in a collaborative space to quickly and effectively solve issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to think analytically and problem-solve independently.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and various tracking software (training provided).
- Ability to work storms, weekends, holidays, and on-call (this is a 24/7 department).
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively.
- Ability to prioritize based on size and scope of jobs.
- Ability to function as a team player within a great team.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Willingness to venture outside of comfort zone and learn.

Pay
The pay for this role ranges from $28.00 to $32.00 per hour, depending on experience.
