Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate tanker trucks transporting bulk liquid materials
- Load and unload using hoses, pumps, and valves with strict safety protocols
- C Conduct and document pre- and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate trip records, logs, and inspection reports
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers and customers
- Adhere to DOT, EPA, and all applicable safety and regulatory guidelines
- Represent Altom with professionalism during customer interactions
Requirements
- Rigorous safety program encompassing onboarding process and new hire training within our safety department as well as mandatory quarterly safety meetings throughout our fleet
- Utilizes best practices for hiring and managing the safety of employees, including valid CDL Class A License, tanker endorsement, hazmat endorsement, TWIC card, minimum 2 years of tanker driving experience, age requirements, clean MVR, no DUI/OWI, no at fault/preventable fatal or rollover accidents, no moving violations, DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Weekly new hire in-person training, incident & accident investigation program, RCMS certified, HSE policy compliance, PPE provided with replacement policy guidelines, flexible scheduling, and company contribution to HSA
