OTR Class A Owner Operator

This position can be domiciled in El Dorado, AR; Reidsville, NC; Baltimore, MD; or Bartow, FL. It is a flexible role that will run wherever needed, averaging 2800-3000 miles weekly with two weeks out required.

About the role

Average annual earnings of $200-250K. Bi-weekly home time. Compensation package includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Operates tractor trailer units.
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units.
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; properly secures the loads.
• Placards vehicle in accordance with Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations.
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports, as well as vehicle inspection reports.

Requirements

• Class A CDL with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software.
