OTR Class A Owner Operator

This route runs from Braintree, MA to El Dorado, AR and averages 3,000 miles per week with a required two weeks out.

About the role

Average annual earnings of $200–250K. Bi-weekly home time. Compensation package includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance with Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Requirements

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
