About the Role
Mid-South Roof Systems, a leading commercial roofing contractor serving clients nationwide, is seeking a dedicated and experienced OTR CDL Driver (Class A Required) to join our team. This full-time, on-the-road position involves transporting roofing materials to and from job sites across the country, ensuring timely and safe deliveries, and assisting with material handling and delivery coordination.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles to transport roofing materials to various job sites nationwide.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring secure, damage-free delivery.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage in company systems (CompanyCam, Dataforma, and Motive).
- Communicate effectively with team members and job site personnel during deliveries and pickups.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Assist with yard and material storage organization as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing MSRS and its core values.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of CDL driving experience required.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Construction industry experience preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel anywhere in the United States without restriction.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Willing to work weekends and extended hours based on production needs.
