Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist Registered to join our team at Lincolnshire Health and Rehabilitation Center located in Merrillville, Indiana. As an OTR, you will play a vital role in helping our residents regain their independence and achieve their goals. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for residents in our skilled nursing facility
• Provide occupational therapy services, including but not limited to: occupational therapy interventions, adaptive equipment training, and cognitive retraining
• Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans
• Document resident progress and outcomes in accordance with facility policies and regulations
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatment and services provided

Requirements

• Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Minimum of 0 years of experience in an occupational therapy setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff members
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
