Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support for research projects aimed at disorders that impact the head and neck region.
• Coordinate studies with the lab and other departments.
• Track study participants, manage data, and assist with budget and resource management.
• Work on a variety of projects focusing on topics such as hearing loss, airway stenosis, swallowing, and nasal disease.
• Collaborate with physician scientists who are leaders in their respective fields.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to interact professionally and effectively in the work environment.
• Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend, and discuss research materials.
• Ability to assist in the writing of papers for publication and research proposals.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and tasks.
• Knowledge of UCSD Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
• Ability to write with correct syntax and grammar to clearly communicate ideas and protocols in writing to EH&S.

Qualifications

• Theoretical knowledge of a life science in a field related to the research being conducted.
• Enthusiasm for learning and a genuine interest in scientific research.
• Effective time management skills.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $59,905 - $71,451 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%).

Hourly Equivalent: $28.69 - $34.22
