Otolaryngology - Locum Tenens

About the role

This position involves providing coverage in an Emergency Department, performing procedures, and managing inpatient and post-operative rounding. The locum must be comfortable with facial trauma cases and handle a variety of ED consultations.

Responsibilities

• Managing patient flow and consultations in the ED
• Performing procedures as needed
• Rounding on post-op and inpatient cases
• Addressing facial trauma cases

Requirements

• Experience with facial trauma required
• Proficient in using EPIC electronic medical records
• Comfortable with ED procedures and patient management

Additional Information

• Support with travel arrangements, credentialing, and malpractice coverage provided
• Average patient volume of 5-6 consults per shift
