OT Therapy Team Leader

About the Role

Lead and coordinate the occupational therapy team to deliver compassionate, personalized patient care during rehabilitation. Support daily operations, including scheduling, training, and communication with staff and hospital departments. Provide direct patient care, building meaningful relationships to aid recovery and celebrate patient progress. Foster a collaborative environment utilizing the latest technology to ensure seamless treatment implementation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in team management and workflow coordination.
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services, tailoring care to individual patient needs.
• Promote patient victories and engagement throughout rehabilitation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain licensure and certifications.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and leadership activities.

Requirements

• Current licensure or certification as required by state regulations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited therapy program.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in occupational therapy or leadership, with at least two years of clinical practice.
• CPR certification (obtained within 30 days if not already certified).
• Preferred: active Therapy Clinical Ladder participation or specialty certifications.
