OT PRN

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a PRN opportunity at Eastern Star Home and Campus in Oriskany, NY. Join a collaborative rehabilitation team to provide individualized therapy and help residents improve their ability to perform everyday activities safely and independently.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy plans of care.
• Provide skilled treatment focused on activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, balance, and functional independence.
• Establish treatment goals and monitor resident progress.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and teach strategies to improve safety and daily function.
• Adjust treatment plans based on resident needs and progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with COTAs, nursing staff, and other rehabilitation professionals.

Qualifications

• Active New York Occupational Therapist license required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required.
• New graduate Occupational Therapists are welcome to apply.
