OT Occupational Therapist Outpatient Part Time

About the Facility

Gateway Rehab, located in Florence, KY, is a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct Occupational Therapy Services to patients, including assessment, treatment, program planning, and implementation.
• Handle related documentation and communication.
• Function under physician’s orders.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy where accepted; Master’s Degree required otherwise.
• NBCOT registered and licensed per state of practice requirements.
• Current, valid, and active registration or license in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.

Qualifications & Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
