Pay

Attractive pay with a base rate of $70-$80 (converting to per visit). Compensation reflects the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets and may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver all aspects of occupational therapy service under a physician-approved plan of care
  • Ensure the plan of care addresses all problems identified in the assessment or document rationale if problems are not addressed
  • Accountable for the safety and effectiveness of the occupational therapy service delivery process
  • Complete documentation timely and accurately
  • Supervise home health aides when an RN is not active in the case
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Current license to practice occupational therapy specific to the state of assignment
  • Graduate of an occupational therapy program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) or successor organizations
  • Eligible to take or has successfully completed the entry-level certification examination for occupational therapists administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • One year of related occupational therapy experience (less than one year may be considered with regional clinical leader approval and appropriate mentoring/residency program)
  • Current CPR certification
