Occupational Therapist Job Duties
- Provide efficient evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to follow.
- Supervise COTAs daily.
- Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting, who require care related to Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA), Stroke, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnoses.
- Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software.
Requirements
- Current New York State (NYS) Occupational Therapy License and Registration.
- EMR Competence.
- Mets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
- Malpractice/Liability Insurance (if applicable).
