Job Summary

The Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine seeks a board eligible/board certified Osteopathic physician to join their academic Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine within the NeuroMusculoskeletal Institute. This position offers opportunities to teach future medical leaders and provides direct patient care.

About the Role

As an integral member of an interdisciplinary team, the successful candidate will provide and manage direct patient care at outpatient clinics in Southern New Jersey. They will collaborate with other Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physicians, covering hospital consult services. The role involves prescribing medication and providing holistic treatments, while also consulting with clinical staff and educating patients.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Valid NJ medical license

  • Excellent communication skills

Pay

The Annual Salary Range Is Composed Of Two Components: Base Salary and Supplemental Salary. The base salary ranges from $100,787 to $231,285, based on the candidate's qualifications, professional experience, and other factors. Supplemental salary is based on regional benchmarking standards and internal equity by specialty.

Notes

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US. The university will not sponsor an applicant's work visa for this position. This faculty appointment is Tenure eligible and may be granted upon successful completion of criteria listed in the Rowan-Virtua SOM Faculty Bylaws. Faculty Rank is pending review and recommendation made by the Faculty Affairs Committee.
