About the role
The OSR Support Associate plays a crucial role in supporting Outside Sales Representatives by handling various administrative tasks and ensuring smooth customer interactions.
Responsibilities
- Support Outside Sales Representatives with daily sales activities and customer account management.
- Write tickets for stock and specially ordered products.
- Prepare quotes for stock and non-stock products.
- Process special orders and purchase orders with vendors and stores.
- Monitor and manage assigned open orders and department purchase orders.
- Cook up deliveries and credit pick-ups.
- Coordinate deliveries and credit pick-ups.
- Receive and process store shipments in the computer system.
- Deliver products to jobsites as needed.
- Forward order confirmations, invoices, and credits to appropriate parties.
- Aid in resolving customer product or order issues.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong communication with customers, vendors, and team members.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of hardware, lumber, and building materials preferred.
- Previous sales support, customer service, or building materials experience preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Professional attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license preferred for occasional deliveries to jobsites.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role preferred.
