Territory Sales and Business Development

Promote and sell CBS products, services, and engineered solutions within your assigned territory.
Develop new business opportunities while growing and retaining existing customer accounts.
Call on industrial facilities, utilities, data centers, power generation sites, and electrical contractors.
Build strong relationships with manufacturers, contractors, end users, and engineering firms.
Maintain account activity and territory momentum to support revenue growth.

Product and Solution Sales

Represent low and medium voltage circuit breakers, switchgear, motor control, transformers, switching systems, and legacy power apparatus.
Promote engineering, testing, manufacturing, repair, upgrade, and life extension services.
Introduce customers to CBS designed products including remote racking solutions, electrical test products, and vacuum interrupter replacement bottles.
Match customer requirements with the right combination of products, services, and technical support.

Project Coordination and Customer Support

Work closely with inside sales, product specialists, and engineering teams on complex upgrade and service projects.
Help prepare and manage technical RFP and RFI responses.
Communicate customer needs clearly to engineering and production teams.
Create and deliver presentations and demonstrations that explain technical solutions in a clear and compelling way.
Support customer satisfaction through strong communication, follow through, and solution ownership.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two year degree preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5 to 7 years of sales experience with a strong electrical background
  • Proven experience selling complex technical or enterprise solutions
  • Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and power apparatus
  • Experience selling to industrial, utility, data center, and power generation customers
  • Knowledge of low and medium voltage circuit breakers, switchgear, and transformers
  • Ability to build strong, lasting relationships with senior level decision makers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation and demonstration skills
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and practical way
  • Experience managing customer accounts and securing purchase orders
  • Experience developing new business and growing established territories
  • Comfort working across inside sales, engineering, and other cross functional teams
  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory
