OSP Engineering Project Manager

About the role

North Sky Communications, LLC is seeking an OSP Engineering Project Manager to lead high-impact fiber deployment projects from concept to completion. This role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans and keep everyone aligned.
• Identify potential bottlenecks and implement proactive solutions to mitigate risks.
• Lead engaging progress meetings and provide regular status updates to executives, clients, and team members.
• Maintain quality control and ensure deliverables meet high standards and client expectations.
• Review engineering drawings and prints for quality and constructability.
• Create desktop takeoff sheets and submit purchase order requests to keep field teams equipped.
• Support executive reviews with slide decks showcasing team wins and progress.

Requirements

• A proven ability to motivate cross-functional teams and delegate tasks effectively.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Sharp critical thinking and quick decision-making abilities.
• A solid, basic understanding of both aerial and underground construction methods.
• Hands-on experience submitting pole attachment applications and navigating/receiving permits from various municipalities.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5+ years of relevant, hands-on work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record check.

Preferred Extras

• 3–5 years of dedicated OSP engineering and construction experience.
• Specific regional work experience in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, or Montana.
• Direct experience working with Telecom Fiber companies' systems and standards.
• Proficiency in Smartsheet to track and automate workflows.

Pay

The wage range for OSP Engineering Project Manager is $90,000.00 - $115,000.00.
