Orthopedist Wilmington DE

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Orthopedist to join our medical practice part time in the Wilmington and Middletown DE area. The Physician will be splitting the coverage at our 2 offices in Wilmington and Middletown part time 1-2 days per month.

Job Duties

• Patient care and management - initial medical consults and patient follow up
• Recommend tests and conducts diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment
• Order Diagnostic labs/imaging - in house computerized neurocognitive testing
• Oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries, mild to moderate closed head injuries and post traumatic headaches
• Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
• Documentation - timely and accurate
• Order/refer to in house therapies
• Collaborate with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient care
• Uphold the company’s mission to provide exceptional patient care and leads in a way that aligns with the company’s goals

Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited educational institution
• BCBEO Orthopedist
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the States of DEF
• Favorable malpractice history
• Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• DEA license

Pay

$175-$200 per hour (Depending on experience, credentials)
