Orthopedics Physician - Atrius Health
Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities
- Performs physical assessments on patients with specialized conditions.
- Develops and implements a plan of care for these patients, as well as prescribes medications, exercises, and/or other treatments.
- Collaborates with the clinical and administrative teams in the management of patient care.
- Maintains continuity of care through the exchange of information with outside health and social agencies.
- Serves as a liaison between primary care providers and specialists related to patient care.
- Teaches and counsels individuals and groups with regard to specific health care needs.
- Serves as an educator in areas of specialization.
- Participates in the development of health education programs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical School or School of Osteopathic Medicine.
- Board Certified or Bord Certified Eligible in Orthopedics.
- Current active Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations.
- Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.
Compensation
Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $457,500 - $931,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role.
