Principal Duties And Job Responsibilities

• Assists in seeing both new and return patients
• Conducts rounding on patients and supports physicians with patients in clinic
• Performs procedures such as Knee injections, Bursa injections, shoulder injections, trigger point injections, and occipital nerve blocks
• Consents for ablations, epidurals, spinal cord stimulator trials, peripheral nerve stimulators, kyphoplasty, and Basi vertebral nerve ablation
• Aids in spinal cord stimulator implants in the future
• Orders and interprets test results
• Functions as a resource person for individuals with questions regarding their diagnosis or treatment and coordinates the multidisciplinary plan of care
• Works in collaboration with other APPs and physicians using established and approved protocols as required by institutional policy
• Effectively uses time, personnel, equipment and supplies to provide high-quality, cost-effective delivery of patient care
