About the role

Seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a high-acuity orthopedic trauma division within a leading regional health system.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive trauma care for adult and pediatric patients, including upper and lower extremity, pelvis, and acetabulum injuries
• Perform elective trauma and reconstruction procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of trauma-trained orthopedic surgeons and a dedicated hand surgeon, supported by regional EMS and hospital partners, to develop a premier trauma referral center
• Manage on-call coverage
• Advance complex case management
• Build a regional referral base
• Participate in teaching opportunities
• Engage in research
• Contribute to community health initiatives, including involvement with a new medical school and college of community health
