Responsibilities

• Meticulously provide direct patient care, utilizing your specialized training and skills to assess, diagnose, and manage hospitalized patients under physician supervision.
• Demonstrate exceptional clinical proficiency and a compassionate approach, ensuring comprehensive care coordination and optimal patient outcomes within your scope of practice.
• Obtain medical histories when necessary.
• Perform physical exams (within established protocol).
• Diagnose, treat, and monitor chronic diseases (within protocol guidelines).
• Order diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe or recommend medications for prescription for medications and treatment (within protocol guidelines).
• Promote positive lifestyle habits to all patients through education and counseling.

Required Job Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing or physician assistant studies
• 3-5 years clinical nursing practice in an acute care setting required.
• 1-3 years previous experience as a NP in an acute or primary care setting or equivalent RN experience
• Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of TN
• Licensed as an RN in the state of TN/GA
• American Heart Association BLS (BLS-CPR)

Pay Range

$89,419.20 - $129,376.00 /year
