Medical Arts Clinic is a multi-specialty clinic located in Farmington, Missouri.

Role Purpose

The physician will provide professional medical services within their specialty through direct patient care and perform related duties such as completing medical records, providing MyChart consultations, in-basket management, patient-specific education, and collaborating with advanced practice providers and care team members.

Responsibilities

• Manages the medical care of a patient panel by providing or arranging inpatient hospital care, either through regular hospital rounds or coordinating with hospitalists or other qualified physicians.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and care team members to ensure excellent patient care outcomes at designated clinic locations and outreach sites.
• Performs and documents medical histories and physicals in patient records as required by hospital medical staff bylaws.
• Provides or arranges call coverage for clinic patients and inpatient call coverage in accordance with BJC policies and medical staff bylaws.
• Collaborates with and teaches advanced practice providers, support staff, and care team members.

This is a safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness and safe work practices.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Medicine
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in practicing specialty
• Licensed Physician

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience
