About the Role

Tryon Medical Partners is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Hip and Knee Reconstruction to join our newly expanding orthopedic service line. This physician will play a key role in building a high-performing, patient-centered Orthopedic program with a focus on total joint replacement, surgical excellence, and coordinated, value-based care. This is a unique opportunity to help shape and grow a comprehensive Musculoskeletal Center of Excellence within one of the region’s most respected physician-led practices.

Responsibilities

Clinical & Surgical Care

  • Evaluate and treat a broad range of orthopedic conditions with a focus on hip and knee pathology
  • Perform primary and revision total joint arthroplasty procedures
  • Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing both operative and non-operative approaches
  • Maintain high standards of surgical outcomes, patient safety, and satisfaction

Program Development & Growth

  • Lead the development and expansion of the hip and knee service line
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish clinical protocols, care pathways, and quality metrics
  • Participate in strategic growth initiatives, including new ASC development and service expansion

Care Coordination & Collaboration

  • Work closely with primary care physicians, sports medicine, and rehabilitation teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Partner with care teams to optimize pre-operative and post-operative pathways
  • Contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction / Hip & Knee preferred
  • Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
