Ortho Idaho, part of the Portneuf Medical Group, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate fellowship-trained Orthopedic Sports Medicine physician to join our well-established team. We are the Official Sports Medicine provider for Idaho State University and all regional high school athletic programs, offering a dynamic, growth-focused environment for physicians dedicated to patient care.
About the role
- Join a collegial team of 10 physicians, 7 APPs, and experienced support staff
- Established Athletic Trainer outreach program
- Dedicated OR time and surgical PA support
- 8-hour workday with limited rotating call (6 days a month or less)
- Access to MAKO Joint Replacement Arm and 3 Da Vinci Robotic Surgical Systems (1-Xi, 2-Da Vinci 5)
- 205-bed hospital with specialty support including Interventional Radiology, Critical Care, and fully staffed ICU/Hospitalist Services
- Level II Trauma Center
- Smart technology: Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, and improve patient flow

Requirements
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in Operative Sports Medicine
