Requirements

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery

Fellowship training or significant experience in Spine Surgery preferred

Current, unrestricted New York medical license

New York Workers' Compensation Board Certification required

Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Orthopedic Spine Surgery

Able to complete required orientation and training sessions

Maintain all applicable licensure, certifications, and credentialing requirements

Qualifications

Experience in reviewing medical records

Preparing clear clinical summaries

Engaging in peer-to-peer communications when necessary

Responding to client-specific questions related to spinal conditions, surgical and non-surgical management, causation, impairment, and disability in the context of workers' compensation cases
