Trinity Health Mid Atlantic - St. Mary Medical Center is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic practice in Langhorne, PA. Orthopedic experience is preferred.

About the role

The Physician Assistant will provide coordination, planning, and implementation of health-related services that best meet the needs of patients and their families. Responsibilities include incorporating education plans into daily patient activity while integrating primary and secondary diagnoses, managing patient delivery, and acting as a patient advocate. The role involves working in a collaborative team environment, consulting and referring to other healthcare professionals within the health system, and occasionally serving as a preceptor to other PAs.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a Physician Extender across all orthopedic specialties, including Sports Medicine, Foot/Ankle, Hand/Shoulder, Trauma, Joints, and Spine.
  • See new patients, post-op visits, follow-ups, and injection visits.
  • Take first primary call on a 1:5 rotation for weekdays and weekends; physicians cover secondary call.
  • Perform weekend rounding.
  • First Assist in surgeries.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree required.
  • 2-4+ years of experience preferred.
  • Active PA License required.
  • BLS certification required.

Schedule
