Orthopedic Adult Reconstruction Physician
About the Role
Join an existing Orthopedic Surgery department at a Level 3 Trauma Center with significant Total Joint cases and a low physician attrition rate. The practice includes hips, knees, shoulders, trigger finger, carpal tunnel, extremity fractures, joint replacements, and arthroscopic knees/joints.
Location
Live and practice in a community without traffic or congestion, with a short drive (less than 1 hour) to the Appalachian Mountains and Charleston, WV. Charleston offers major metropolitan entertainment, fine dining, music, the arts, and a large airport. The area features affordable neighborhood living options, family-friendly activities like ATV trails, hiking, a water park, a museum, and year-round boating and fishing on the local river. The county has a population of over 35,000.
Compensation & Benefits
- Year 1 potential income over $775,000 with wRVU bonus
- $50,000 relocation assistance

Requirements
- Ability to obtain/maintain a medical license in West Virginia
- 1+ years of experience preferred
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery required
- Medical Doctor with or without U.S. residency, with a current U.S. work visa
